Correction Officer
Earn starting pay of $23.12 per hour
Correction Officers are vital to maintaining safety and security at our facilities. You’ll work directly with incarcerated individuals, ensuring order and fostering a rehabilitative environment.
Minimum Requirement
To apply for a Correction Officer position with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, you must meet the following qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Background Check: Pass a thorough background investigation.
Drug Screening: Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
Physical Fitness: Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform the job duties.
Driver’s License: Hold a valid driver’s license (required for positions involving transportation duties).
